KIX Field Agent App v1.6.0

NEW OPTIMISATIONS & IMPORTANT ADJUSTMENTS

We are constantly developing the KIX Field Agent App, which is essential for the effective and mobile work of your field staff. Here we would like to inform you about the currently available release version 1.6.0.

Improvements

  • Ticket transfer 

    • Listing of unlocked tickets of other users in "My Teams

    • Transfer of unlocked tickets of other users from "My Teams

  • Ticket creation for asset
    • During ticket creation, affected devices can now also be entered by specifying the asset number or using the QR code reader.
    • From the view of an asset/device entry, it is possible to jump directly to the creation of a ticket for this device.
  • General corrections

    • Tickets in MobileProcessingState "rejected" are no longer considered by the app.

    • Use flight mode in iOS behind proxy has been corrected.

    • Gesture "scroll down" now refreshes ticket view again.

    • Uploading a ticket draft now locks input fields.

Maintenance

The following maintenance and fixes were implemented:

  • Flutter upgrade to v3 
  • Platform specific maintenance (Android) 
    • Certificate error in Android Enterprise fixed 
    • Ensure compliance to Google Policy Android 11+

Roadmap

The next KIX Field Agent release is scheduled for Q4/2023. It will include adding attachments from the file system as well as viewing and entering dynamic fields on the ticket.
