REVIEW OF C.A.P.E. IT AT THE HANNOVER MESSE TRADE SHOW 2018

In 2018, c.a.p.e. IT GmbH once again took part in the Hannover Messe trade show with its own stand. Using two realistic use cases by way of example, the team demonstrated the features of its KIX Professional open-source software.

This year, the focus was on KIX Professional MRO, which has been designed to make technical maintenance work more efficient. Whether it's for plants or tools, and regardless of whether the company employs hundreds or several thousand staff – KIX Professional MRO meets all the needs of industrial SMEs. The trade show clearly showed that these companies have so far fallen into one of two groups: One small group which is already tackling the challenge of Industry 4.0, and a second, larger group which is still searching for the best ways and options for integrating a suitable system.

That's why a whole host of companies showed interest in KIX Professional MRO, asking questions and requesting a demonstration. Rico Barth, Managing Director of c.a.p.e. IT GmbH, commented: "Many different companies came to HMI specifically to find a solution to this challenge. With our product, we were able to provide them with the answers they were looking for. We're noticing that companies have certain qualms about these new challenges, so we're trying to put their minds at rest by showing them that solutions and options are available. We then get consistently positive feedback about our product, which confirms that we're following the right course."

At the end of the trade show, they were able to look back on five exciting but also very successful days: "We returned to Chemnitz very satisfied in knowing that we're offering the right product, in the right place, and at the right time. Of course, this massively spurs all of us on to continue developing and expanding KIX Professional MRO and to provide first-rate support to SMEs when it comes to mastering the challenge of Industry 4.0."
