KIX-function of the month: Automatic FAQ search
Did you ever get stressed out that in the classic OTRS you need a number of clicks to search in the FAQ? With the new KIX you can search automatically into the knowledge database. Simply activate in SysConfig the SideBar for FAQ in the relevant processing forms and determine whether you want to search by full text or by keyword.
For example: You use the function "Create new ticket" and you enter some information into the subject line and switch to the next field. KIX is automatically doing a FAQ search in the background. Relevant contributions will be displayed in the sidebar in a search result list. The FAQ entries can be linked or completely used as a text for further ticket processing.
