Visit us in Hall B1 at stand 230!

We’ll show you our specially developed software package for maintenance, repair and overhaul.
Experience live how separate areas such as production, technical maintenance and IT grow together through the use of powerful software.
Our authentic use case provides a specific, practical approach that is easy to adapt to your needs and makes gradual digitalisation possible.

REDUCE COSTS WITH THE RIGHT SERVICE MANAGEMENT

With KIX Professional MRO, complex maintenance processes and workflows can be digitalised, standardised and centrally controlled. This enables better mapping of existing structures and advance planning of suitable maintenance measures.
The open source service software is easy to integrate, easy to use and can be individually adapted to industry-specific and internal requirements.
This allows companies to work more flexibly, effectively and intelligently and helps small and medium-sized companies in particular to get much closer to the goals of Industry 4.0.

Our presentation in the talk lounge

Title: KIX Professional – Integrated use of open source software for standardised service and maintenance processes

Topic: Industry 4.0/IoT in small and medium-sized companies

Everyone is talking about the upheavals of Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things. Open development and software platforms and open, standardised interfaces are a crucial criterion. Open source plays an essential role in this. This also has implications for industrial services in the context of fault elimination, maintenance and servicing.

The presentation shows that IT and open source software are now penetrating all areas and how the proven processes and tools of IT Service Management (ITSM) are converging with the services in the industrial environment, thereby making a holistic service approach a reality.

Selected practical applications based on the KIX open source service system show how technical equipment, home and building technology, medical device technology, production systems and IT components are brought together in the central service system.

Open systems and open standards help small and medium-sized companies to get started in a manageable framework in order to grow into the processes of Industry 4.0 at their own pace.
