Open-source client management for heterogeneous IT environments
The device and client management system of uib GmbH is open source software (AGPLv3) and manages computers in heterogeneous environments (Windows, Linux and MacOS) - from a dozen to several thousand computers.
KIX connects to opsi via an open interface and uses its hardware inventory. opsi collects detailed information and transmits it to KIX.
The device data is created as separate assets in KIX. Changes are automatically synchronized, ensuring that the database is always up-to-date and accurate.
