Whether it's an Oscar, an Olympic medal or the Federal Cross of Merit - awards are highly coveted and make recipients proud. For the area of IT service management systems (ITSM), i.e. those tools that are used in countless IT departments to control IT and other processes, in Germany this includes above all the title "Certifiedtool", which has been awarded by the IT consulting company SERVIEW GmbH since 2003.
SERVIEW CERTIFIEDTOOL is the independent seal of quality for uncompromisingly convincing software, which stands for functionality and transparency and is a decisive factor in tenders.
The IT service management system KIX Pro 18 has been certified as a SERVIEW CERTIFIEDTOOL for 15 out of 19 possible ITIL® 4 processes. This makes KIX Pro 18 the world's most functionally powerful certified open source tool for the ITSM sector. With KIX Pro 18, a whole new generation of KIX has been created, which brings with it a multitude of configuration and administration options.
To make the use of ITIL® 4 as easy as possible for all users, the add-on "ITIL® Practices" was developed. These are templates with which changes can be made, problem cases, services and management tasks can be processed and numerous reports can be produced.
In addition, KIX offers various KIX Connect extensions for data exchange with external systems, such as an ERP or external CRM software. In addition, the app "KIX Field Agent" was developed to enable field staff to process service orders in an uncomplicated way - whether online or offline.

During the #KIXCONF on 22.06.2022, SERVIEW Managing Director, Marcus Bause, virtually but personally presented the trophy for certification to capeIT Managing Director Rico Barth.
