PRESENTATION ON THE "KIX OPEN SOURCE SERVICE TOOL BOX"


For a service management software, a high degree of configurability can be both a curse and a blessing. A curse, because a modular system requires one's own ideas and thoughts. A blessing because it offers practical solutions for all those with a high need for customisation, specific requirements and individual scenarios.


KIX Service Software has embarked on this path. Since 2020, the depth and scope of functions have been continuously developed, always with the users' requirements in mind. In particular, the integration options with complementary software programmes have been significantly expanded.

First introduced at CLT 2021, a lot has happened in KIX in the last year: e.g. reporting, workflow support, configurable webhooks and much more.

Support for technical service beyond IT Service Management has also been further advanced. With the further development of the mobile KIX Field Agent App and the map display of deployment locations, important points of the product roadmap have been incorporated into the regular releases.
