REVIEW OF C.A.P.E. IT AT CEBIT 2018

July 04, 2018, 10:49

This year, c.a.p.e. IT once again took part in CeBIT 2018 with its own stand. It did so despite the fact that CeBIT, Germany's leading technology trade show, had been revamped. The most obvious change was that, this year, the trade show was moved to June. This caused problems for Rico Barth, Managing Director of c.a.p.e. IT, during the planning phase: "We actually held off with committing to the trade show for a long time because we were unsure whether the reception from visitors on this date would be comparable to previous years when CeBIT was held in the spring. But looking back, we can now say that it was definitely worth us taking part." Among the more than 2800 exhibitors, c.a.p.e. IT GmbH faced its direct competitors from the fields of IT service and operations management in Hall 15, and easily held its own. Rico Barth explains: "KIX Professional has established itself as a worthy, open-source Enterprise ITSM system, and interested visitors at our stand were impressed by the wealth of different features it offers. Our new Security Management module was an added new feature that went down extremely well – in particular because this module integrates extremely well with the verinice security software, which is widely used for governmental applications in particular."
