KIX and publicplan have launched a strategic partnership for open source.
The Chemnitz-based KIX Service Software and the Düsseldorf-based e-government specialists at publicplan have entered into a strategic sales partnership. Together, they are advancing the digitalization of public administration with flexible, open-source solutions that promote independence and compete with proprietary systems. Through this collaboration, KIX and publicplan intend to accelerate digital transformation at the federal, state, and local levels.
Who does what?
KIX provides the technology and PublicPlan provides the market understanding in the public sector. Public authorities benefit from a modular, customizable IT service management platform that runs on-premises and in the cloud. KIX meets ITIL4 standards and includes features such as ticket and asset management, self-service portals, a knowledge database, field service modules, and automated inventory. In addition to IT service management (ITSM), KIX can be used for enterprise service management and technical customer support.
